Melitta Barista T Smart: cleaning, slow flow and blocked brew group
The Barista T/TS Smart has a removable brew group and guided programs. Check the water path, rinse the group and let each automatic program finish before considering service.
Before you start
- ✓Confirm Barista T or TS Smart on the rating plate.
- ✓Fill the tank and seat the tray and grounds container.
- ✓Do not interrupt an active cleaning or descaling program.

Check water and grind
Refit the tank fully. If coffee only drips, move the grinder one step coarser while it is grinding; do not make a large jump.

Rinse the removable brew group
Switch off, remove the group as shown in the manual, rinse it with clear water and let it dry before locking it back in.

Realign the drive if the group will not fit
With tank and containers fitted, switch on and hold My Coffee plus On/Off for more than two seconds. Let the drive reposition, then insert the group without force.

Complete cleaning or descaling
The cleaning program lasts about 15 minutes and descaling about 25 minutes. Use the guided program and the matching Melitta product; do not interrupt it.
