Compact espresso machines under 24 cm wide

Compare three compact manual espresso machines by footprint, controls and accessory system.

These three compact single-boiler machines take different approaches to hands-on espresso. The Gaggia Classic E24 and LELIT Anna PL41TEM each measure 23 cm wide, while the Profitec GO measures 21 cm. Gaggia offers a direct manual workflow and a 58 mm format; Anna adds PID temperature control and a pressure gauge in the LELIT57 ecosystem; GO combines an OLED PID with adjustable brew pressure and selectable preinfusion. All three require a separate grinder.

What to compare before buying

  • Counter space: compare depth and operating clearance as well as width.
  • Control: choose between manual simplicity, PID assistance or additional pressure settings.
  • Accessories: Gaggia and GO use 58 mm formats; Anna uses LELIT57.

Which one should you choose?

Choose the Gaggia Classic E24 for a straightforward manual routine and access to the 58 mm accessory category. The Anna PL41TEM suits users who want PID control and a pressure gauge in a 23 cm body. The Profitec GO offers the narrowest chassis of the three and more adjustable parameters. Your grinder, preferred workflow and accessory system should guide the final choice.

Questions buyers ask

Which machine needs the least counter width?

The Profitec GO measures 21 cm wide, compared with 23 cm for the Gaggia and LELIT. Also measure available depth and leave working space for the portafilter, water tank access and steam wand.

Can I reuse the same accessories on all three machines?

Not automatically. Gaggia and Profitec use nominal 58 mm formats, but diameter alone does not guarantee every portafilter, basket or accessory will fit. The Anna uses the distinct LELIT57 system. Check exact compatibility before purchasing.
